A step closer

*Phew*
Like finally we are a step closer to reaching the destination. It was fill with ups and downs but hey we manage to overcome it.
Went to Hillgrove today, not as a C.I but as an alumni with the school permission to use their workshop. Kinda sad though, a tertiary instuition without a workshop. So we went over; we as in me, rudy, Din and Farah without the abang*hehs* and with the help of Mr Salihin and Mr Loh, made a mould and shaped an acrylic sheet to the desired shape. Funny thing was some company charge like what, 100 or so bucks and few weeks to make something which wasnt as close as what we needed while we, as in we the same four can just take roughly about 2 hours to do.
Mr Salihin showed us few cool gadgets the school procure, like you no longer need the buffing machine to shine the edges of an acrylic, but you can use this machine which uses flame to shine it. Kinda cool uh. Mr Loh was helping us with shaping the acrylic and it turned out rather well. We made two of those things, 1 as a spare in case shit happen, and yea, we do not need to fork out anything as those are recyclable. Well they had been of great help, they were the guys that help me out with my DnT project way back in secondary school.
So moral of the story is, sometimes, its best to do things yourself. People might not have the same enthusiasm or the same idea as what you have. So by doing it yourself, it cuts on the waiting time, makes you more independant, saves time, money, as time is money, so yea, time again.
What's left on this project is just to put everything together, a little bit of glue here and there, some hinges etc and wala, ure done. What we have to do now is just to wait for the holidays to be over and then we can continue on fix humpty dumpty together......
